As Executive Director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Katie Toomey is responsible for managing all day to day activities, leads member engagement and acts as the primary point of contact to over 350 chamber members. In this role, she also acts as a key point of contact to CenterState CEO members in Oswego County.
Toomey holds a variety of leadership positions in the community serving on the Oswego Health Board of Directors as well as the Oswego Health Foundation Board. She is also very active with the City of Fulton DRI LPC, Oswego County Economic Advancement Plan, Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Museum, Oswego County Workforce Development Board - Business Development Committee, Oswego County Airport Master Plan and actively supports Friends of Fort Ontario and the Oswego YMCA.
As one of Oswego County’s greatest advocates, she has 15+ years of experience in client relations, marketing communications, community relations, and advocacy. She is a creative, strategic and driven professional who employs her diverse background to bring a fresh perspective to every situation. Toomey has served various clients including Fujifilm Medical Systems, 1-800-flowers.com, Konica Minolta Medical Imaging, Elsevier and Novelis, and has provided strategic guidance to clients and secured a variety of placements in national, local and trade outlets including Ellen DeGeneres, TimeOut Chicago, Bloomberg News and Radiology Business Journal.
She received her M.S. in Public Relations from Iona College.

Community Events & Member Engagement Manager Sara Broadwell
Sara Broadwell brings energy and enthusiasm to her work at the GOFCC. As the Community Events & Member Engagement Manager, she works to advance the business and community interests of the region through advocacy, member services and community enhancements. Sara works in collaboration with the Executive Director, Centerstate CEO staff, chamber members, elected officials and community members to build a vibrant retail, commercial, and residential environment through the use of various resources.
Sara manages the GOFCC Ambassador Program, an enthusiastic committee of local professionals dedicated to celebrating milestones in the Oswego County business community. Sara is the primary contact for all GOFCC training and education opportunities, networking events, annual events and the All Access Event Pass. She is the key contact for our community focused programs including Project Bloom and chairs the Oswego-Fulton Farmers Market.
An active community member, Sara serves on various organizations including The Oswego YMCA Board of Directors, Friends of Fort Ontario Board of Directors and sits on the Oswego Health Foundation Gala Committee.
