Greater Oswego Business Committee (GOBC)
Formerly the Downtown Business Committee. The mission of the GOBC is to assess and address the needs of the community and businesses to achieve solutions and growth. Member businesses of all sizes, in all areas of greater Oswego, are invited to join this dynamic group that provides a platform and forum for identifying, discussing and developing a plan of action to create opportunities for the overall well being of the area and its business community to include business development, consumer activity, tourist
trade, living space, recreation, arts and entertainment. Meets at 8 am, the third Friday of the month in the conference room at the Chamber’s Oswego Office*
Greater Fulton Business Committee (GFBC)
The mission of the Greater Fulton Business Committee is to work on behalf of the greater Fulton business community to ensure that the area benefits from business development, consumer activity, tourist trade, living space, recreation, arts and entertainment. The GFBC will provide a platform and forum for identifying, discussing and resolving issues affecting the economic well being of the greater Fulton area’s merchants, industries, and institutions. Meets at 8:30 am, the first Tuesday of the month in
the conference room at the Chamber's Fulton Office*
Membership
The focus of this committee is to work with the Membership Sales and Service Coordinator to assist with recruiting new members as well as with members retention. The committee helps new members orient themselves to the many benefits of the Chamber, including networking with others businesses by introducing them at events, and works with existing members to ensure that they are taking full advantage of their membership benefits. Meets at 8:30 am, the first Wednesday of month in the conference room at the Chamber’s Oswego

Government and Community Affairs
This committee is comprised of Chamber members interested in the political process at all levels as well as supporting positive Economic Growth for the region to ensure a positive business-friendly environment. The group works with the various agencies in the region to as well as member businesses of the Chamber, with the purpose of collaborating on projects that bring about economic growth and sustainability. Project Bloom–Oswego
Project Bloom-Fulton
Both groups work with their respective local businesses and municipalities on this beautification project that adds colorful flowers to the streets and parks of the communities they serve. Events
Our events committees are organized on an ad-hoc basis to produce a variety of membership and community-based events throughout the year. Because committee organizers and volunteers are welcome to participate on all or just one or two events, this is a great way to get involved with the Chamber on a basis that best suits your availability and interest.
